Default 418 LQ9 What cam to run?

Hey guys looking for some suggestions. I have a newly built LQ9 stroker 418CI and was wondering about a cam choice for this. I have the TPIS 90mm intake and throttle body, PRC stage 2.5 5.3 heads with 2.10/1.60 valves, long tube headers and SLP exhaust, underdrive crank pulley. Any suggestions appreciated I have a Torquer V3 with 200 miles on it out of my 346 but dont know if this would be a good cam for this motor? If not would be willing to sell it.

I would ask TSP since your running their heads.

Ditch the TSP heads, those are seriously mismatched to those cubes.

THIS ^^^^^^^ w/TEA guide upgrade (stock rocker compatible)
Your current cam will be all done by 5800 w/418"...perhaps a custom in the
range of 238-246 @ .050 will get you to 6400-6500 range

This may be a little off topic but.......I never understood the "help with cam selection" posts. Agreed there maybe a COUPLE cam guru's on this board but it is truely hit or mis. IMHO...just call the pros..the ones that will make a spread sheet on your combo and give you options with moving the valve events around to compliment your specific combo.

Examples..
Erik @ HKE
Steve @ LSM
Geoff @ EPS
Mark @ Bullet
you get the idea and the list goes on....pro, as in they make a living dealing with these variables.

Here is a thread on the bullet that will be a good read for your situation...

Thanks...and good luck with your build.
