Holley LS Fest - The School of Automotive Machinists wins LSX All Motor Class

The School of Automotive Machinists rolls on, continuing our dominance in the LSX All Motor class this past weekend at the Holley LS Fest in Bowling Green, KY. This is our third consecutive win this year. We were off to a rocky start early in the weekend battling tire shake in the first round of qualifying which led to transmission issues and unfortunately placed us 4th in qualifying. With the help of good friend and fellow racer, Robin Lawrence from Holley and Craig Liberty of Liberty Transmissions who was kind enough to answer his phone late at night, the relentless, never say die SAM Racing students led by instructor/crew chief Chris Bennett, managed to rally together and place Judson Massingill in the winner’s circle once again. The team has already begun preparations for the Indy Shootout. See you there.
