Brake light stays on
The brake light on the dash has been on
I changed the driver side emergency brake system
The spring that has the ear to the brake cable was broken so I thought that was the problem
I bled the system, added more fluid and it's still stays on
Any thoughts on what else would trigger the light?
Also it's a 93 hawk if it makes a difference

Check the wires going to the sensor at the base of Master Cylinder.
Also, if your MC is all gunked up, the sensor may be covered in trash.
These two wires make a circuit using the brake fluid as a conductor. Lose continuity, like when the fluid gets low or the sensor is covered, the light comes on. As long as current is flowing through those two wires, the light on the dash will not illuminate.
