Hey guys i just got back from clay city Mountain Park Drag way and i ran a 12.53 @ 105 and honestly im just proud of that and felt like sharing! the reason im proud is because the engine is still bone stock internally. HP mods are only full exhaust, SSRA intake, SLP lid with smooth bellows, and ECU tuned by bluecat, the rest are just supporting mods like 9in Moser, steel drive shaft and McCleod Twin disk clutch ext. ext. but anyways heres a timeslip from last night :) OH and the other reason im excited was because i didnt expect to get air under both front tires untill i was around the 500HP range but even at 3580lbs she got air under both front wheels ( not much around 4-5 inches) and i got it all on video thanks to my family being there to catch it all on film.:drive:

nice et. what tires?

you have a t56 car i assume? what rear gear? you only picked up 20 mph on the backhalf, which is very low for an m6 car. i can see low 12s in that car with a better 60' and some running out the back door.

dude that is awesome. I am planning on trying the same thing to get a base line. Then watch my gains from there

Nice run, got the video link? So whats next for mods? I've got pretty much the same bolt-on's, figured your trap would be higher as my stalled auto is running 111 mph. Either way good run.

theres the video link, thanks for the comments guys, well i have noticed it was a little low on top end for some reason because on my 20in wheels with street tires i ran 13.01 @ 112 but on slicks i lost 7mph on top for some reason but lost 1/2 second also so im not complaining. yea its an M6, detroit locker 3:89 gears ( wanting 4:11 now) 35 spline axels, 26x10.5 slicks. very near future mods are 6-point roll cage w/ racing seats, cnc ported LS6 heads and cam with double adjustable timing chain and ported oil pump. thats it for right now of course later plans are a 346 stroker kit but thats a few years off for now. yea i really dont know why it lost so much on top end, i launched @ 4500 got wheels up about 4-6 inches so it launched good and kept a pretty consistant shift point of 5850-5900 rpms....like i said completly stock internals, stock heads, stock, MAF , throttle body ext...only minor bolt ons......u guys have any clue why i lost 7mph going from street tires on 20's to slicks? thanks for the input guys i really appriciate it

Congrats on the new best. But i think your need to work on the 60ft on with a moser and slicks you should be able to pick up some.

+1 ^^^ yea i think that 3580lbs and the 12lb Fidanza flywheel is slightly hurting my 60ft but im thinking of swithcing to a 4:11 or 4:56 gear, PLUS next time i run the 1/4 im planning on taking out the sub setup in the back temporaily which will drop the weight down to 3430lbs so that will help alot...any guess why im dropping MPH after the 8th though?

Hey guys i think i figured out why i was dropping the MPH after the 8th, when i ran the 13.01 @ 112 i was on my street tires on 20in wheels and i didnt have the stereo setup in the back which weighs around 150lbs this time i kept it in there, i think that extra weight hurt my top end, ill find out next time i go because im taking the stereo out temporarily for another 1/4 mile run and ill see if that raises my MPH at the finish line.
