Default Steering Wheel looks horrible

Im approaching 100K and my Steering Wheel is starting to look real bad. It has alot of wear and the plastic foam stuff is really looking bad on top of the wheel from the texas sun hitting it every day.

Anyone ever do this?
Is it possbile to buy a new steering wheel?
If so is it tough to replace it considering the Air Bag stuf?

Check the junkyards. Other GMs used the same wheel and air bag. I got one from a 90s Monte Carlo.

Solutions range from a $5 steering wheel cover to custom leather wrapped wheel.
A retrofit would be nice but airbag negates all the available options or just get a fbody replacement wheel from a junk yard.

Wheels are $10.00 the airbag assembly 35.00 at the junkyard. You need a steering wheel puller and the correct ratchet/socket.

I would like to do that but I don't want to lose my airbag or wheel controls. How do you pass inspection without it, did you delete the passenger side too?
