cheap LCAs and PH
So I was on Ebay looking for some lower-control arms and a pan-hard for my 98 Trans Am and I was wondering if the cheap ones you find on Ebay work fine and bolt up fine or are they cheap for a reason?? Thanks.

just put on a set of founders performance, half price from everyone else. great lookin and fit perfect, except lca relocs. only issue was boring out the piece that shocks bolt thru (easy fix) and bangin around parking brake bracket to line up straight. car drives fine and just had it aligned. too bad techs dont know how to fix thrust angle :/ fyi i got their adjustable lca and panhard too

Note that there are differences on the components used. Some vendors use quality rod ends made in the US while other use Chinese rod ends. Also the powdercoating thickness and zinc coating on the piece comes into play. Some are not zinc coated before powdercoated. Also heat treating the steel. etc. etc. You get the picture.
So it's not all about pricing all the time.

I have a Founders non-adj panhard. Quality is great. Looks right on par and material specifications is almost identical between all the big name suspension manufacturers from what I have seen.
