Default transmission mount shot?

how much should my shifter/console bounce around going over bumps?

trying to figure out if the tranny mount might be shot.

i get a fair amount of rattling from the shifter during acceleration, as well as it and the console really bounce around pretty good when going over bumps and such.

could this also be motor mounts that are toast?

I had the same prob. Replaced the trans mount and everything's good now. It's only about 20 - 30 mins total to replace it, so I'd give it a try.

really only 30 min?

I need to investigate how it's done.

I was assuming it to be a big ordeal.

what mount did you go with?
reading suggests the 1LE is a good way to go but might not be sold any longer?
