Thumbs up LS1 Ram vs Cammed Mach 1 (silverz28camaro vs Mach Boy) *video*
Went down with Mach Boy this weekend so he could check out Brad's Ram, and get some racing in. We got rained on a bit heading out to the spot so the tires were a bit wet, but the spot was dry. Mach Boy admits he's not the best driver, but he spun pretty good and it didn't want to go into 4th. Weather did not permit for more runs, or runs with the other LS1 that came with, not too mention Mach Boy & I had a 2 hour drive home ahead of us. Fun time though.

That was a cool ram. They seem pretty heavy to go against that stang.

It was a good time...hung out for a while....the orange mach 1 sounded completely BITCH when he flew past me at 120 mph!!!

Love that ram. Those 1st gens are actually pretty light for a truck, around 4000-4300 pounds I think

jk...depends where the end was. If that was an 1/8 mile race, I do not think the MACH would have caught him.
That RAM moves out pretty damn good and hooks nicely!

mach was one of the worst drivers I have ever seen on video...cool rides tho

yea..that 3rd to 4th shift delay was pretty painful to watch and listen to. I was expecting to hear this smooth transition of gears but instead I heard dead silence for 5 seconds.
It felt like someone giving you their phone number, but they messed up smooth flow of the seven digit number harmony.

It wouldn't go into 4th, that wasn't a slow shift.

Yeah it locked me out of 4th. Evidently it didn't like the 6700 RPM shift. There was literally 2 seconds there before it would let me shift.

People here act like you can't drive, you seemed to do fine other then 4th locking you out.. anyone here with a car that had similar mods would see the same race. my buddies 99 cobra... same race...look at my other youtube videos, I holeshot, then they come around me. Its not driver error, its just the Ram having more lowend and midrange..

Yea my Mach has locked me out of 3rd before. I'm not ******* with the 3650 anymore, T56 going in with Liberty 26 spline.
