Default 9 inch rear ??

has anyone purchased a 9 inch rear from tms? I have been shopping around and this seems to be the best price by far!!

http://www.thompsonmotorsports.net/T..._Rear_End.html

what am i missing, there must be some hidden fees or something.

the combo was what i was looking at, since i am completely stock.
any input? you know what they say, if it looks to good to be true, it probably is!

i would love to get a mwc, but the price and wait is alot to deal with!

Not an expert by any means, but it looks like a quick performance 9". From what I've read and been told by a friend who has one, you don't want an adjustable torque arm with this setup and the Torque arm mount heim joints need upgraded.. I've been looking around too.. Good luck! Someone correct me if I'm wrong(and I know you will.. lol).

Thats not a bad price considering if you get the complete package it includes an adjustable torque arm. Another member here bought a quick time 9 inch & some of the mounting holes werent drilled big enough & the panhard bar mount needed modding as it initially wouldnt fit. Thats something I didnt have to worry about because I bought from MWC. You might have to upgrade the heim joints like has been said, I dont like that torque arm bracket that much either but I guess it works. You will want a good driveshaft too.

It says requires center section. That is just the housing and axles. That is the Quick Performance housing. I think its cheaper on their website.

Our wait does take some time but there is a reason we have a wait, we go above and beyond to help all our costumers out and do not drop communication after the sale is over.

Our package with a spool is $2700 shipped to the lower 48 States. This includes the housing that comes with all needed hardware, brackets, brake line clips, & a drain plug at no extra cost. With this you get a torque arm of your choice (Trans mount or tunnel) and a cross member to suit your needs. Nice feature of the torque arm is the fact it eliminates the extra torque arm bracket. All our torque arms and other suspension items come with FK rod ends.

With the base package center section you get a Strange S-Case, Motive gear, Daytona style support, a forged yoke, and we use Timken bearings. The axles are Strange and 35SPL. How ever we have many different choices we can do as far as a center section and axles. We can add a billet clutch posi for $175 to our base package.

Not to mention ours is a fabricated housing.

Since you are completely stock, more than likely you're going to want a rear with a limited slip differential.

The standard Moser nine inch with a Trac-Loc is a good way to go, here is a link to it. http://shop.brutespeed.com/Moser-9-I...c-Truetrac.htm

The fabricated Moser nine inch, which is called the M9, is not any heavier than the 10 bolt, and comes with a great torque arm and transmission crossmember. Here is a link to it. http://shop.brutespeed.com/Moser-M9-...y-Complete.htm

Both of these rears ship out in just two days.

Here is some info that may help you out. http://shop.brutespeed.com/Brute-Spe...nformation.htm

Default Def. a QP rear

that's def. like $300 more than quick performance offers right on their website, it is indeed a quick performance, QP will ship you the same housing and axle package for $1065
