High idle, speedo reading sitting still
Guys,
I finally have the car up and idling. Problem I have now is I can't gt my idle under 1200-1100. Looking for the proper table for thi, just not sure? The only way I can get the idle down is using the VCM scanner, On/Off controls, clicking on Special, set the Steps to 50 and click on the step button. I know I'm changing the IAC position, just don't know wher to adjust this for good.
Also the car is on blocks, bu the speedometer in the scanner reads 7-10mph? Not sure what is causing this?
I've attached the bin & log. Thanks in advance for the help.

Engine is in am 85 Camaro
60ln Inj
2-bar MAP OS
Mild cam, TFS heads
Vortech SQ (no belt yet, so no boost)
No sure what you mean by an Idle config?
I have set idle airflow, some idle VE tuning, idle rpm, idle spark.
Trying to get my idle correct for now.

How do you clear the fuel trims? I noticed that B2 sensor was maxed out, not sure what to look for there. Also thinking of unplugging the VSS to see if the scanner will show 0mph instead of 7-10mph.

Fuel trims is on the VCM scanner under controls/fuel spark then reset trims.
I would start with forcing open loop.
How is the throttle body getting its air now? Do you have all of the plumbing to the superchatger connected?

Yes the supercharger is all hooked up. I guess I can disconnect it for now & have the throttle body open. Running a MAP anyway. I'll try to reset the trims etc in the scanner & re test. Will that make B2 sensor re trim? Wondering why it's maxed out?

Many thanks Mustangbrk02,
Things look good now. Ready to continue to tune.
Anyone have any ideas on the MPH sitting still? I unlpugged the VVS sensor & the PCM read 0mph now. Is the sensor bad, or picking up some sort of interference?

Are the vss wires ran by any other wires? We had this problem on my little bro's truck we swapped a 5.3l into and it was doing the high fluttering idle similar to yours. He had his vss wires ran close to others and was getting the interference showing he was going like 10mph at a stand still.

Yes, the wires are in the harness along with the rest. I made a new harness for my installation. It's an M6.
Wondering if I should just run 2 separate wires down to the VSS. Shouldn't be too hard to do.
May be braid them as well to help?
