Default Need advice on head choice...

I am building a 11.75:1 408 nitrous motor. It is a pump gas N/A car with a 300 shot on dedicated system. I need to know what heads and intake setup would be recommended. I am going to have PatG spec a cam for me.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I know there are a lot of choices. So far I am seriously looking at the PRC 237 heads. But I am not sure as of yet.

Thanks in advance.

Since you will already have PatrickG in the loop, I would talk to him about heads. That discussion should include the compression ratio configuration to coordinate the cam selection with the head selection. Two other heads to consider would be Trick Flow's 235 and AFR's 230.

I see you are in San Antonio, I have some Lingenfelter 243s sitting in my garage with your name on them. I'll even deliver them to your preferred location. I am tired of them staring at me.

MAST LS3 would fit nicely on your 408. Thick deck and high quality.

Thanks for the input...I would like to get more if anyone would like to chime in. I am going to get Patrick in the loop for the heads as well to get his input. I just want to make the right choice the first time. Im sure anyone that has built an expensive motor knows what I am talking about.
