Default WHAT CONVERTER FOR TURBO glide

hi all, need some advice direction on suitable converter.

346 TT making 800rwhp, dedicated track car.
glide transbrake, 3.07 gears, 28" tyres
ran 9.1's with 4L80E and 4k stall.

guys what-
brand
stall speed
slippage
ETC

guys any assistance of what you have ran our others would be great.
$$ also and who to start talking too.

Sounds like a 258mm will be a good match for your setup. Something that would go to about 4K on the break should let you leave very nice and still be very efficient up top. Guessing about 5% slip on the big end. Give us a call or shoot us an email and we would be glad to help you out.

I don't build converters. But I do have relationships with converter companies nationwide. Including the two Sponsors that posted here.

If you would like to kick around some of your options I wouldn't mind giving you my opinion based on my experience. I spec out converters for guys just like you dang near every day. Just give me a call whenever you have a few minutes and I'll help you out.

Talk to Greg at FTI also, he custom specs every converter he builds.

What size are the turbo's mainly turbine wheel size in mm's and the a/r on them?

Where does it make pq. torque at also?
