Default help!!!!

Ok so I have a 98 camaro z28 auto with460 to the wheels I have had this transmission rebuilt twice, and it went out again, I'm looking to do a manual swap. How hard is it and rough estimet of the cost. Any help is appreciated

Go with a th400 and never look back, otherwise get it rebuilt to a stage 3 and it should handle what you have just fine. You could swap with someone who wants to go from m6 to a4 and whos tranny also needs rebuilt, thats the cheapest way.

Will that mount directly up to the motor, is any changes needed, I found one for $1000, brand new.

It should be a direct swap besides a few wires, theres writes up on how to do it in the sticky section.

Awsome thank u for the help. It's exactly what I wanted with the manual/ auto option. That's why I believe I chew Thu trannys.
