Default Squeaky brakes??

My 06 GTO brakes are starting to get squeaky when i brake. Is this normal or is it time for brake?

How much will cost for new brakes (just parts)?

First, take a wheel off and look down into the caliper to see how much pad material you have left. There should be a little tab that is touching or really close to touching the disc.
If theres still pad left, have you gone crazy with the tire shine or sprayed any type of grease/lubricant near the brakes? Anything oily on the discs will cause squealing and can be removed with a heavy rinse of brake cleaner
