Exclamation Question on electric fans from a 96 Z28

I just bought an electric fan assembly from a 96 Z28, I paid 50 bucks. I have a few questions, first, does any one has the wiring diagram for these fans, the plug has two wires, one wire is white and the other is black, the other plug has a black wire and a blue wire. which wire is positive. Also, are these fans pullers or pushers. and last, this fan will go in a 4.8 vortec, I am ussing it will have no problem cooling the engine.

thanks for your help

They're pullers.

Factory setup was that the PCM could command a low and high speed. On low the two fans were hooked up in series, high speed was parallel.

So low speed: (12V)->(motor 1+) (motor 1-)->(motor 2+) (motor 2-)->ground

If you hook the 2 blacks to ground and the blue/white to 12V it should run high speed.

They should have no problem cooling your Vortec. I had a 96 Z28 with some engine mods running high 12's. With AC on full blast on a 100+ day in Dallas traffic it never went above 200F (Hypertech tune + 160F thermostat).

thanks guys, the way I am planning on wiring them is to have fan 1 to come on first, then fan 2 if the temperature gets hotter, just like the fans from the trucks. Any problems doing it like this. The PCM has the two wires for this setup.

Thanks again.
Also, does each fan has a 30 amp fuse, is this adecuate, I try one lsat night with a 30 amp fuse and it did not burn, so I am assuming is fine.

30A per fan is fine.
