Done my research, checked the rpo codes and it has Z28 and Z4C but no Wu8 or Wu9.

It is white with orange stripes and white leather interior 6 speed.

Under the hood it says American Sportscar and has a 1800 number.

I am thinking it is fake. Am I right??

I owned a '96 SS for 8 years, pretty familiar with these cars. Call SLP with its VIN. They can tell you if they received it from GM for the SS package. If they cannot verify, then odds are it is a re-creation.
