finally got a good track and some good air. car went .2 faster than previous best on motor. didnt pick up much on spray for some reason.

car felt as if it were surging going down the track on spray. pressure was showing 950 so i dont think that was the issue.
I would say not much on motor but on the spray you should be around 10.7 or 10.8. Only 3 mph on a 100 shot is not much at all.

ya you've def got an issue spraying.
i've seen 11.7 @ 115 cars go 10.7 @ 125 on a 100 shot. look into that and you'll be much happier. i can see your car going mid-low 10s with that 60'.
to answer your question, there is a lot left in that car when you get the n2o working properly.

yeah i knew motor wise it was probably as fast as it was gonna go since i dropped .2 with good air and awesome track. I just couldnt figure out why there was the surging issue going down the track, but it was definitely noticeable. Theres probably 5-7 mph left in there wouldnt you say???

Surging issue could be nitrous turning on and off. Ive had similar issues caused from blowing through the converter and not having my upper window switch high enough.

are you sure it wasnt leaning out on the spray ? that will surge , been there done that on another platform....

i double checked everything before the pass and it was all good.

youre definitely not the first person to bring this up. theres no wideband on it.

Window switch?
Sometimes you will hit the window switch RPM and it will turn off the spray. Then the converter will drop the RPM's because the loss in power and turn it back on if the converter is a bit to loose.

Mine surges like that when the bottles getting low but I would check fuel pressure and make sure one of your solenoids isn't sticking. It could ugly really quick! I wouldn't recommend spraying until its corrected. What size jets are you running on fuel/nitrous?

Comparing our cars. I'd say you might be able to pick up on motor too. Healthy cam cars can run 7.3s. Granted...it's all in the set up. I'm having the same nitrous problems that you are. I'm going 7.3s on motor@93.75mph and only goin 7.0 at 99mph on a 150 jetting!!!!!!! Upon inspection of parts, it looked like my nitrous pistons teflon seal was protruding from the face. For mine, it's suppose to be flat. Our idea is it's cutting down nitrous flow and I'm spraying maybe 75-100 on nitrous buy over fuelling it. My afr was 11.2 we dropped the fuel jet down a size and my car instantly picked up to 102mph. So deffinently onto a flow issue. Now mine didn't surge like yours did. But get a wideband on the car or put a fresh set of plugs in it and take a plug reading. And they say nitrous is easy HP, huh? Lol

it already got ugly on the very next pass. lost all oil pressure and bottom end was rattling / knocking pretty hard. had a buddy come pick the car up last night to take to his shop. im putting forged rods and pistons in it.
