Default opinions on which bellhousing to buy??

Just order a monster stage 3 (YESSS!!!) and I also need a new bellhousing after destroying it today from my clutch exploding.

I dont feel like calling countless junk yards and busting *** trying to find a stock bellhousing, plus I'd like to upgrade anyway since I'm having to go to all the trouble. What is a good replacement? would you go with a Quick Time? or a McLeod??

I know the quick time is SFI certified, but I dont think the mcleod is. And also.. theres so many part numbers, I'm not quite sure which one is the one I need for a direct replacement. Heres the links:

http://www.byunspeed.com/product_inf...oducts_id=5002

of those two mcleod bellhousings, which one would I need?

or should i go with this quick time? http://www.byunspeed.com/product_inf...oducts_id=7691

okay.. well apparently the quicktime brand doesnt work with a 12" clutch. Summit Racings website sais no larger than 11" clutch will do. So I guess thats out of the question now

I have owned both, the Quick Time is also about 10lbs lighter, and as mentioned much easier to install.

Yeah, it will definitely work with a 12" clutch. I remember an install thread awhile back by a member who had a 12" tex clutch with a QT bell housing, here is thread with pics:

Quicktime bell here, 100% bolt-in installation. Fits great, very quality piece.

Quick time bell is almost a bolt on install. Only thing I found when using stock F body oil pan is that you want grind a portion of the oil pan where the block saver plate doesn't sit flat with the pan.

You will see, and its about 5 mins worth of grinding. nothing major. Both of my cars have a Quick Time bell.
