Default moser 9 with spool... other options?

im buy a moser 9 from a good friend but he has a spool in it, and im not a fan of it because i use my car on the street alot, what are some of my options besides buying a whole new center section with a wavetrac or something similar, it does have a aluminum center so i would like to keep that, thanks

I never driven a spool on the street so I'm not sure how it acts, I do daily my car sometime so I don't know how it will act plus the car is in FL so it rains here on a daily basis in summer

You shouldnt need the whole center for a wavetrac install, but its still 1k dollars. Im going for a clutch style i think, the locker is annoying but I also have a 6spd. I hear the true traks are nice also. Depends also on your spline count for options available, 35 or up and not a lot available.

I'd install the rear as is and see how the spool feels to you. If most of your driving is on rural roads or on highways, you'll hardly notice there is a spool in there. Bob
