Default 2001 WS6 vs. '07 GT500, SRT-4 *HD Vids*

Went out to Mexico last night for some runs.

I ended up running two cars, and getting whopped by both. My car is a 2001 WS6 M6 with: Lid/LT's/ORY/Catback/555R's/Un-Tuned. In each run both cars had 1 passenger.

'07 GT500: Intake/No Cats/Mail Order Tune/"480whp"

SRT-4: Bolt-Ons/E85/Tune

Watch in HD

45mph roll w/ GT500:

40mph roll w/ SRT-4:

30mph roll w/ SRT-4:

Win or lose I was just glad to get some runs in with the new clutch. I'm also happy that they were clean, nobody jumped or missed any gears. Getting tuned and a P&P TB soon so hopefully i'll be a little quicker within the next few weeks. Enjoy.

I loved the fire in the exhaust of the srt-4 in the last video. Tune will make a huge difference in your car

Gt500 seemed kinda slow to me???? We all new he was gonna win but figured your death woulda been more violent vs the slow pull to light jog pull away

Thanks!

I know that's what I was thinking lol. I think I woulda held him off for a while from a dig since he would have spun pretty bad.

Thank you, they actually did run after I ran the GT500. The SRT-4 lost by about the same amount he beat me by.

Yea I knew I was going to lose, but I just didn't know how bad. I honestly didn'y know what to expect, I think he could have shifted a bit faster.

Probably should've beaten the SRT-4, but the loss to the GT500 is to be expected

srt-4's arent that slow from a roll. A buddy of mine with an 05 srt, with an aftermarket IC, with a waste gate mod was door to door with a 6.0 GTO m6 (20-120). the goat had some sort of intake, and exhuast. I agree with the GT5 results, it was a given

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I would think, you make more power than the srt 4, plus the roll race negates the weight difference, hence why you should beat the srt 4. But good runs nonetheless, the outcome with gt500 is to be expected although I'd expect him to murder you not jog away like that
