Piston selection for 6.100 rod I have been hatching a LQ4/l92 for a year now going in a 92 convertible fox. Seen a set of eagle H-Beam rods on craigslist, 6.100" for $250. Figured why not they retail $450+. Come to find out almost all aftermarket pistons are for the 6.125" rod. Have I made a critical error? I need @ least 10.5 CR so no cereal bowls please.lol And honestly would prefer something a lil stronger than a stock ls2 piston. Not even sure stock ls2 pistons have floating pins.. Stock bore 4.005, stock stroke 3.622 i believe.
I "plan" to poke it with a lil gas also, looking to run low 9's to high 8's from what ive read this may be possible. Any input will be appreciated.thax
