I'm running new era's street sweeper HT cam and made 440rwhp on a 95 degree day with full boltons and ported LS6 heads. The cam specs were 228/232.

I have the torquer V3 cam (specs are in sig) and the PRC 2.5 LS6 heads. The 5.3 heads were an option because you gain a little compression. But what i found out was the ports on the LS6 heads are straighter and outflow the 5.3 heads. All in all i love my setup.

When deciding on a cam you need to consider driveability. Do you still have the stock rear gear?

For basically the same money do a ported 243/799 head with stock size valves and you will be better off...

243/799 stock heads and big cam or ported heads and a smaller cam, which path cost less and is more street friendly ?talk to Patrick-G for a proven combo.what trans and rear gears do you have ?read and ask more questions to learn about all the other hiPro parts you will need to consider buying to make the total combo work and kick-A.you will need bigger injectors and a good tune .you will also need a good clutch or stall converter, and good rear gears..check the dyno section for some ideas.TSP heads and a EPS cam,or look at a vengeance racing combo.

You say 228/232 for the duration on your cam is that advertised duration or is that at .050 lift. What is the lift on your cam? this is intended for camaro 94

Thunder Racing has some nice packages for a H/C setup with Patriot Heads and one of their cams.

I would definitely recommend looking into a Vengeance racing kit, Ron was really helpful when I was looking for a top end kit

Check the link out below. This has our budget heads/cam kit and our all out heads/cam kit but we have several kits in between to fit your specific needs and price range. Give me a call here at the shop or shoot me a PM to discuss in detail. Thanks!!
