Default The never ending project!

I started off with two cars a firebird and a wrecked z28 Camaro and this is what I ended up with! It has everything from the LT1 Camaro even the Camaro interior. I'm in the middle of a t top conversion right now. I plan on doing the ceta mod also in the near future. Tell me what y'all think.

Whoever did the paint job imo did a horrible job matching it. you can see that the fender and the door are two completely different colors. 2ND the car is way to low in the last pic. Maybe some better pics, but definetely do some blacking out, like side markers, 5% tint, etc. To give it a sharper look. If it still has the 93-97 tailights, i'd get the honeycomb (1998-02) kind, and the ceta mod flat black. Leave the tailights, maybe darken them just a little. Just my .02. I feel like i didn't spell alot of words correct, but i am tired as hell right now, lol.

Hmm interesting, Im just curious though, why didn't you just buy a LS1 TA? I suspect you probably spent more putting those two cars together than if you just got a TA. Either way nice work.

The car was a painted all at once the color is spot on. It just looks that way in the pictures. It does have the honeycomb taillights, and is 5% tint all the way around.

That thing looks sharp. I wouldn't do a T-Top conversion. You never see 'Birds with a hardtop. It looks great as is!

I know you said Firebird and it has a hard top, makes sense. So how come it has everything Trans Am? You never said the Firebird was wrecked. You had to have changed all of that stuff since no 98-02 TA ever came as a hardtop. Not sure if you could get a LT1 TA as a hardtop. Was year is your Firebird and what was wrong with it?

From the first picture, the Firebird looked like a 3.4L V6. He must've done a 98+ front end conversion.
He's missing a sideskirt though.

*Edit* Nvm. I see both skirts in his garage now...

Looks good as a hard top.I like everything except for the lt1 camaro dash..

So you started of with a 95ish firebird
Swapped in a lt1 and interior into the firebird
Then bought a 98+ trans am front end etc?

Yes started with a 93 firebird. I got from the junkyard. I was going to use it for a drag car, but after I wrecked my dd z28 I used all the parts on the firebird and did a 98-02 front end conversion.

LOL color looks fine from my screen. Question, why didn't you do the t-top conversion before paint?
