Default Blue Light Bar - Vol FF

I'm a volunteer firefighter in Indiana. We have the blue light law, which allows us to use a blue light to signal that we are responding to a call, and would appreciate the right-of-way. We have to drive with what's called "due regard," which means we have to be extra safe, otherwise we are responsible, even if it isn't our fault if an accident occurs. The blue light lets us be better seen.

Now I'm wondering, has anyone ever installed a blue light on top of an f-body. I don't mean just a rotating beacon, but the whole light bar, like the police have. The difference is, ours doesn't have any red, just blue.

Pictures would be awesome. If you've installed one, where do you recommend positioning it? Any information would be awesome. I think it would look great, but let me know what you think.

We can get them in just blue.

Google image search police interceptor Camaros.
And Firebirds.
Just a few that'll give you an idea.

I would keep it inside the car.

A physically low profile light bar would look good on the sail panel.

That's what I was thinking. I'm just trying to find one that is just blue lights and that is the low profile led style, not the bulky lights.

^^^ive always wanted that car but op, if you have ttops you will have to mount it to the sail panel and will need to probably drill holes for the wires. if you mount it inside, you will not need to

I wish I had reason to have a light bar in my car.
Well, I have a reason... just not a legal one.

The highway patrol did some extra tinkering and brought the horsepower up to 365 HP
Wonder what the upgrades were

Galls.com has a good selection of light bars, strobes and hide-away strobe kits. Some strobes in your headlights and reverse lights would look really nice! I've always liked the bars the stretch across the top inside of the windshield and rear window. A higher mount gives better visibility.
