12 Second Club - sorry 12.90

I have a 99 t/a a4. port throttle body, xer281hr,lunati dual springs ls6 intake.lid, mac headers mids(was on car when i got it) perfomabuilt level2 ss3600 yank. tune. 373 gear. stock 853 heads and bottom and comp Trunion rockers. i was hoping 12.3. 60 1.865 1/8 8.261 1/4 12.907 at 105.89 and the bad part is on a drag tire :bomb: please give advice on my problem

with a 8.2 1/8 it seems like you losing something after the 1/8 mark. I recently ran 12.9 with 8.4 1/8. Maybe You just need your shift points to be adjusted. hope this helps

ya what kind of tune, a dyno or mail order? A dyno tune would be a good start, or find a different tuner.

car has an issue with power. be it the tune or something else. i'd expect those mods to easily generate a high 11 sec slip.

tranny may be slipping? You are missing some mph for sure

Trans just been refresh. I put it in last sat. Bad trans ran a 13.5 and 1/8 8.8. So I guess its in the tune. I just hate twice spending money twice.

defintely seems like tune issue that should be an 11 second car for sure.

yeah youre definitly way down on power the whole way down the track. you could have a bad maf, bad knock sensor, bad o2 sensors or just a plain bad tune.

new tune. car running crazy lean. old tuner left fuel table factory.shift points was factory.demanded 28 degrees of timing. what a waste of money. new time 60 1.79 1/8 7.8 88.09 1/4 12.3 110.84 mph. stock injector max out now. car feel alot better.

its on a street tune now so i don't know. I put some pacesetter long tube on my 60ft went to 1.657
