Default Will Corvette Intake fit on Gen III LS1?

I am a newbie, and have a shortblock 1999 Camaro 5.7 LS1. I need to find all the external parts and wiring to put this in my 66 chevelle. I found a 2000 corvette C5 intake on craigslist. It is bare, but I can get it for $60

Question: Will it fit and is that a decent price?

Is $60 fair for a bare intake, no fuel rails or TB? Is a newer model better to get started with? 2002+

Look for something 2001 or newer, see LS6, no point in hindering yourself.

Frankly they should be giving away LS1 intakes. But with truck guys I guess there is a market.

Yeah I would get an LS6 intake. Those are around $300 bare. If your ok with an LS1 intake though, I have one off my 00 Trans Am. Where are you located?

Worth waiting for an LS6, but if set on an LS1 that's pry a fair price. I got $100 for mine on ebay.
