Got the Trans Am tunedbyFrost
So a few months back I finished the H/C/I build on my Trans Am and had it tuned by Jeff Creech and Carolina Automasters. Well, it turned out to be less than great to put it gently.
Without changing any mods I took it up to Steve Williams (Frost) in Richmond, VA and had him take a look. Like I figured, Steve said my tune was all jacked up. He wiped it clean and retuned my Trans Am.
With the Jeff Creech tune, the car made 411/417 (if you trust the dyno, which I don't) not to mention driveability blew. With Steve William's tune, the car made 433/409 and drives like stock! I couldn't believe it.
I drove 230 miles to see Steve and it was worth every minute of the 4 hours it took to get there. If you're in the neighborhood and looking to get a tune, do yourself a favor and go see Steve Williams!
The first graph is the Creech tune and the second is the Frost tune (you be the judge!)
Mods are:
FTP lid
NW 90 TB
FAST 90
42# Injectors
AFR 205's
EPS 226/230 .598"/.600" 113 LSA +4 advance
Rossler T3 trans w/ Yank SS3600
1 3/4 Kooks LTs
Kooks ORY
GMMG catback
10 bolt

Congrats. Steve has tuned my last 4 LS cars and the drivability is always great. It is well worth the drive. Several of my friends with G8's come down from Maryland and NOVA to have Steve tune their cars. The longer the drive the more you get to enjoy the car on the way back!

I just booked an appointment for a dyno tune at my local shop, but am seriously considering a mail tune after reading this.
Except I have no idea how a Mail tune would work, Frost if you read this please PM me, thanks.
To the OP; that kind of gain from just a tune change is awesome... but with AFR heads and a fast, and every other supporting mod I think i was expecting in the 440+range?
EDIT: Just noticed you're running thru a stalled AUTO, makes sense, great numbers in that case!
