Default t56 upgrades

Got the t56 out for quite a while, going to pull it down and rebuild it, Its got to handle 550hp all day, so want to build it well enough to handle a few more to be on the safe side.

Any upgrade kits or mods you would recommended, other than the Rip shifter. Is there a multi plate clutch available?

The Ute you're working with takes a same-as Monaro box?

Refresh that one with billet 3-4 keys, new blocker rings throughout, front and rear seals, depending on year a new iron 3-4 fork, careful inspection of bearings and all the synchro and gear teeth... If you're not going to hammer it with slicks the small output shouldn't be a liability but can be.

In that case, if it's a box like the 04-06 Monaro/GTO w/ triple/double synchros, look into the 32 spline upgrade Mike posted on here. It could cost you a tailhousing, 2nd gear, mainshaft, reluctor and yoke but it will be a durable SOB on launch.

What's the tag # on the gearbox and is it a 6-bolt rubber coupler at the front end of the driveline?

Same Box as the GTO, but a few different ratios, Has the 6 bolt coupler.

Righto, if the Box is beefed up this much, guessing the Diff will need attention to, any ideas on what to do to the GTO diff and CV's?

I'm not to LSx savvy, do you have a T56 or TR6060?
jmd has you pretty much covered,, I also upgraded the blocker rings to CF, upgraded the output shaft bushing, added bronze fork pads & got billet forks & keys & had my gears get the mikronite treatment.
check out these guys for good deals on parts> http://ddperformance.com/
and check to see if tick has parts yet for your ride, their website says "coming soon"
