Quick Time
10-06-2011, 12:36 PM
Still trying to get the new warehouse in order but we needed a little break. Weather was looking good and we dusted off the Camaro and headed to the track.
Only change from last pass of 8.96 was brand new tires.
After waiting for 45 mins of an oil down made the first pass.
Pulled hard and went left, lifted and got back into it.
8.96@154.72 1.36 60ft
Little sloppy but i knew the mph was there cause the shift lite was on as i crossed the traps.
Adjusted the sway bar and then had a track burger.
Waited another 35 min for another oil down.
2 Step at 6500 and the 200 shot on go.

It was Night of Thrills showing off the wheelie cars
The car lifted hard and didnt stop. The sparks you see in the picture is the bolt that attached the chute mount. The bolt is bent and ground down now.
The rear wheels cross the 60ft mark.
I tried to peddle it but i didnt want to come down and didnt want to flip.
Slammed down as easy as i could. SYA bars took the damage. Headers have a flat spot but no cracked oil pan.
Wheelie bars in my future?
Have to back the clutch down some more next time out.
Here is the video for your viewing please.
