Default powdercoated stock ws6 wheels

I have a Pewter '00 T/A, and I love to display the WS6, ls1, etc everywhere I can. That being said I don't want to get rid of the ws6 wheels that came on my car, but I do want to put black wheels on, so I am thinking about having them powdercoated black. Has anyone ever seen this done? Are there any pics that I just haven't been able to find? If it looks bad I'll just keep them and put my drag radials on them and buy some wheels off OE wheels. Some help here would be much appreciated.

How does that plasti dip hold up? Is it as durable as powder coating? What does it cost per rim?

You can get a case of 6 at home depot for like 35 bucks or so. 6 bucks a can.
its somewhat durable, depending how many coats you do. it will last you around 6 months or so, maybe even more. reason I use plasti dip is to play around, get ideas, kinda like get a preview before you go off and do the actual thing. if your gonna try this, clean all wheels before spraying them.
Heres a vid.
