Default Drivers side window won't go down

My driver's side window won't go down. I hear a clicking from under the dash when I push the up and down sides of the switch. This happened once a while ago, but it started working again. Now it is dead. The window motors have worked the same since I bought the car, no slowing down to suggest the motor is going dead.

Would this be the express down module (I thought I read it is located under the dash)? If so, does anyone know if I can eliminate that feature easily? I don't like it because I like to stop the window just a tiny bit before it bottoms out to try to save the motor from pulling against a hard stop.

Thanks,

Chris

Sounds like your window motor has died, sorry.
But it is common, It might still be under warranty. I would check.

If it is indeed dead, tell them to give you about 3 replacements, you'll need them.
