hey i know this is ls1 tech but does any one know what the current record is in the 1/4 for a stock bottom ls6? last i heard it was around 9.73 or 9.76 and i think that motor had head work and or cam swap. tomorrow i am going for the record and my ls6 is bone stock down to a stock ls1 intake. wish me luck if the weather and track conditions are right i hope to set the new record.

If it has an ls1 intake its an ls1... The ls6 blocks in fbodys make no more power than an ls1 block.
Not sure about stock bottom.. Bolt ons only is high 10s, stock heads cam bottom end..

Stock cube/bottom end 346s are in the mid 8s.
By the beginning of next year there will be one that will brush 7s.

Nah I found it on another site the quickest completely stock ls6 with boost is currently 9.800 set by east coast super chargers. The ones going faster have heads cam ect. Well tomorrow I go for the completely bone stock ls6 on boost record. Stay tuned.

my set up is simple its a bone stock ls6 from those that scoggin dickey sells on here, the turbo set up is simple as well using a 72mm precision turbo. i have meth injection and run 93 pump in the tank. i am tuned on efi live by the guys at ecs at 600 whp and 645 tq at 10 psi tonight i am going to go to closer to 12 psi. last sunday i hit 9.799 at 11 psi when i was sure the record was lower then that so i didnt post. according to the zo6 site i am getting my info from this guy here may also be a stock block... "email@example.com-Chris Stewart-- '03 05/09 St LngBlk,TTiX,meth,4L60 conv,Post#411, Slip-Vid
" so this may be where i got the 9.76 in my head . either way i hope to go deep into the 9.7s at least.
