05 c6 - long tubes, X pipe and ported intake un-tuned

96 cobra- bolt-ons, procharged, 4.10s

YOu have shamed all C6 Vette owners losing to a 96 cobra. Sell it and buy a Volt.



J/K good run. Fast Cobra. Not sure a tune will make up for that.

I will say the cobra is very strong for the mods. It has beat a lot of cars it shouldnt but so has this vette. My clutch stuck real bad in 4th. Time to replace that. Lol.

Oh I defiantly need more than a tune to keep up lol. The car is a beast and I just didn't have enough to keep up.

Always some one faster. Either you had car to track.

Buddy just ran high 11;s with his cold air/LT/X pipe/tune C6. He is a manual and getting used to driving again. He has said he thinks it is a little faster then his G8 that went mid 11's. with cam. Just need to learn to drive it. Not faster when he sprayed his G8. LOL

Yea I've been but I have street tired and it went 12.70s@115 2.3 6.0ft so with tires I think I could be vary close to high 11s.

I know lol, drs for a 19 inch rim arnt cheap and I have an 05 which have a garbage rear dif so im trying to not break anything lol.

I think the vette did good, a tune and a better clutch and the vette would do really well againt the same cobra. Cobra is fast and sounded good.

hmm, I don't know about that. He just has bolt ons. wouldn't he be running leaner right now? leaner is meaner, right?

the cobra was the one with the bad clutch. could prob add another half to full car with a good clutch.

both of these cars run very well for the mods they have.

wouldn't a ls3 car with his mods be just as fast as the cobra????? I am just trying to find if there is that big of a difference.
