The entire staff of the NMCA would like to sincerely apologize for the lengthy delay concerning the ingress today at Lucas Oil Raceway for the Fuel Lab NMCA World Street Finals. The NMCA clearly underestimated the level of interest for this year's event in Indianapolis. By noon on Friday October 7th we had sold over 300 heads-up entries and ran short of ticket stock. We also ran short of allocated pit area and were forced to relocate the entire pit entry gate so that the oval track could be utilized for overflow participant parking. These moves we were forced to make caused significant inconvenience to our most valued customers and for this, we sincerely apologize.
We will be making additional operational changes following the event this evening to ensure much smoother ingress for all customers tomorrow and throughout the entire weekend. Once again, we genuinely apologize for the inconvenience today and we sincerely appreciate your support and understanding. Thank you for your continued support. We wish you the very best for a safe and successful conclusion to this weekend’s event.
