Diagnosing P0300 with smoke machine....video inside. Having this P0300 code after installing my sts turbo (prior to tuning). Most vehicles this could be a weak coil or vacum leaks. Since the LS has multiple coils i figured it would throw a P0301-308 if one of the coils were bad or weak. I borrowed a smoke machine from one of my shops and this is what I found. My blackberry has a crappy mic so you may have to turn the volume down a bit. Looks like I have a broken HVAC line, a leaky catch can (ebay) and possible injector o- ring troubles. It really helps to have the right tools to diagnose these problems!
