Hey Guys,
Went to the track for the first time with my 68 Bel Air Wagon after the L92/6L80E swap.

Condition: cool(low 60's) and calm.
Weight(est): Curb weight of 327/th400 wagon is 4131. With all-aluminum engine swap it should be even with the extra weight of the 6L80E. I am 210lbs, I had 70 lbs of tools in the rear cargo area, and my wife rode for the third pass(120lbs).

First pass
0-60ft: 2.050
1/8th ET: 8.712
1/8th MPH: 81.19
1/4 ET: 13.554
1/4 MPH: 98.97

Second Pass
0-60ft: 2.106
1/8th ET: 8.833
1/8th MPH: 80.85
1/4 ET: 13.688
1/4 MPH: 99.73

Third Pass
0-60ft: 2.047
1/8th ET: 8.779
1/8th MPH: 80.41
1/4 ET: 13.664
1/4 MPH: 99.48

I think there is more in it. I am using HP Tuners but have only tuned for the LS3 injectors/map, and a few adjustments for transmission drievability.
I basically just matted it off the line with only about 15 foot of slightly spinning the tires. My mph are kinda lower than I expected.
Any thoughts? I thought it was pretty good for a big wagon.

Thanks,
Brad

Nice, congrats. Sounds like a cool ass car, I'd love to see some pics of it as well as the shifter set up and under the hood.

Hey man pics and video links below.
My shifter is just the stock column shift mechanism working with the 6L80E. Works fine. Only problem is the tranny has one more detent(D, 3, 2, 1) than the instrument panel/shifter does(D, 2, 1). So I can't get to 1st gear. I did however use my HP tuners to maintain 1st gear in 2nd gear position.
Oh and I used the shift arm from the th400 on my 6L80e to make it all still work. Works great. Its amazing how a swap to a 40yr newer engine and the shift linkage is in the exact same position.

What gearing? What tire size...

Congrats on running well.

My trailblazer ss runs 13.7@101 at a heavier weight but they have 4.10 gears stock. My truck is stock plus cold air intake.

I would check shift points could be a little low.
