Gen 5 Camaro External Bolt-On Tech - Engine light

I installed a Volant CAI and 5 hours later the engine light came on is that normal? i have heard if u put one on u need to get it tuned true?

I would check the MAF to make sure it is plugged in fully, and didn't vibrate back out of the socket. Mine vibrated out the first time, but stayed perfect when I plugged it back in. (Probably missed the click when it slides all the way in on the first try)
