Chevrolet Performance LSX Challenge Series and LSX Shootout - BIG thanks to MAST, and Ed Hutchings

Although I didn't win anything, I want to give a big shout out to everyone at MAST, especially Damon, that actually came and helped me thrash to get the car running in the pits, and Ed Hutchings for literally throwing a tune in my car in 10 minutes while we thrashed on everything else.

I barely made first round and this was only the second pass , seocnd time its really been even started, on a fresh 408. I ended up running a no where near what it can do but a 5.90@ 116 in the 1/8, and I let off at 1000ft and broke out with a 9.40@123 coasting.

Time to put a .082 or bigger jet in and let her rip! I also I had a transbrake solenoid go bad and lost reverse, had to launch 2500 footbrake, and I had to dig up a blowdown tube for the bottle. I made it run though!

i duno Jeff, the Barber Shop crew has me beat,
-getting trans off craigslist in the ghetto, them coming out of the woods with it, right after someone got shot
-putting a fuel pump in the truck on the side of the road, cutting an access hole and using a mustang fuel pump
-grenading a 9in that got lsxtv coverage with diff fluid spraying all over the track

haha, it was a rough weekend to say the least

maybe the LSX gods will take it easy on us next year!

Yes Thanks Nathan and Craig for your help also. James forgot to add them into the post. It had all of us scratching our heads on Saturday. However we all got it back together for first round. Who would have believed that out of 88 LSX Rumble cars we would have to run Damon first round. I hate that Nathan had transmission problems and missed first round. The heads are great you guys did an excellent job on them. I could not be happier with them. We are making a few more changes that should pick the car up even more. We are heading to a 275 tire Nitrous only race on the 22nd. I will keep you posted.
