Hey yall! Ive been checking out this forum for a little while and am happy to join up!

I recently got my first ls1 car, a 1998 Firebird Formula auto, red, hardtop.

I got it through a series of trades and only have $1200 in the car. It runs alright and seems to shift good with 135k on the odo.

The guy I got it from claimed that it ran terrible but by the time I drove it from his house to mine the sputtering that it was doing seemed to clear up.

I just finished doing wires and plugs on it and when I was driving it home from my buddies shop it started missing again, but this time only when it was trying to shift gears.

If i was just putting around in it, then I would never notice, but if I gave it any substantial amount of throttle at all, it would sputter every time she tried to shift...

It has a brand new fuel pump, MAF sensor, and o2 sensors, as well as the plugs and wires.

It also takes longer than it should to start, which might be a related problem that could help in diagnosing.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!!
