Default Torquer V3 my first cam.

I finally got the cam installed after having the parts for four months now. Can't even begin to express the feeling of having the beast come to life after what can only be described as a personality transplant. I wasn't expecting the car to idle as good as it did before the tune, but it did. The only thing better than having a cam is having a cutout to accompany it. It sounds so mean at idle and wot. What is next? I'm thinking an ls7 clutch in the not to distant future. The oem clutch just can't hang. Here is the dyno sheet.

416hp\389tq with 155,000 miles on the motor. Alllrighhhttt!!

That's a nice fat torque curve you've got there! Great under-the-curve-power...

Congrats dude, you just sold me on upgrading to the same CAM for my 2001 SS A4 w/140K miles. Gotta love that solid torque curve

Did you also upgrade to RR's, ported oil pump and double timing chain w/this setup?

No roller rockers. I bought a set of used ls1 rockers for like $30 on here and swapped out the shitty bearings with the comp cam trunion upgrade kit. Worked great and it got rid of that sewing machine noise from under the hood. I also installed a Melling ls6 oil pump, ls7 lifters and trays, 25% slp underdrive pulley, 160 degree thermostat as well as new push rods, springs, retainers, locks, seats, stem seals, arp head bolts and gaskets . Pretty much everything thats needed for a proper cam swap. Call Texas Speed and Performance. Tell them what kind of power you want to make and they will hook you up.

Awesome numbers. I Just got done with my built 347 and was gonna keep it stock cam that way i could break in my torque converter. But went t56 now and have a good ls7 clutch for it so i think im gonna go with this cam. Seem to be a good cam on the dialy but makes good numbers. Thanks man!

Awesome numbers man.

I have that cam with a set of PRC 5.3L heads and when i had my tune and install done, I put down 384RWHP, but that was with my unlocked stall a4, which we later found out was completely shot.

Now that Im an m6, seeing those numbers makes me want to re-dyno even more than i already do, haha.

Nice gains from a cam swap! How does it sound at idle?

Some nice numbers for your mods. Congrats. Do some research before you invest in the LS7 clutch. Alot of guys complaining about that setup especially when dumping the clutch, beating on it, etc. Check out Monsters stage 2 package imo.
