Default HID projector Aiming?

I've had these sonar projector lights on the car for a couple of months and never really been able to get a really good spread of light. I just installed 5000k HIDs and I love them in there but the driver side light output is much less than the passenger one. also the driver side ballest is making quite a bit of noise. anybody else have this problem?

There is something wrong with that driver side. Make sure the bulb is seated properly. Also try swapping the bulb and/or ballast from the passenger side to the driver side (1 thing at a time) to help diagnose the issue to pinpoint the faulty part. From the look of it, I'd say the bulb isn't seated properly.

Agreed with VIP1. All it takes is to be off a smidge and the whole thing will go wonky.

Both those headlights looks messed up! What's going on with the driver side beam? What's that weird shadow in the middle of your cutoff?

On the passenger side, that color doesn't even match?

Thanks for the replies I didn't realize that the hid bulbs were so sensitive. After messing with the bulbs I figured out the drivers side bulb was pointing upwards by just a hair which completely threw off the beam and it also affected the color. Thanks again for the help

That looks much better. BTW, even if you were still using halogen bulbs, if they were slightly off in aliment, you'd see the same problem. Its projectors in general that are sensitive, not just HID.

Just curious, do yours look blue at all? I bought 6K and they were too blue so I got some 5K and they looked whiter at first but still have some blue which I think takes away some visibility. I've looked at a ton of pics and i can't tell if not in person so just trying to get some opinions. I think im going to try 4K now.
