Fueling & Injection - Racetronix pump and hotwire hook up Q

I installed a new racetronix fuel pump and ran the racetronix wiring harness below the car along the fuel lines to the alt. My question is where on the alt is the pos out? Is it the stud on the back with the bolted on wire?...I looked at the wire and its black....I was expecting red thats what through me off.... Thanks

Ya its weird but that's where it goes if you trace the wire it turns red before the batt
