01 t/a vs. 01-04 roush stage II
So I was at a light and I hear someone revving behind me and it a roush I was looking at my mirror and saw him adjusting his seat so I knew he wanted to go at it so when the green arrow comes on I make my left turn at a 10 mph crawl once I got te car straight I look in the mirror again and I saw the stang fish tailing bad I guess he got on it right away so he is about to catch up with me and I floor it and he is behind a good car length for about a half a mile so I let off the gas cause I knew the road was about to get bad and he keeps going and nearly looses control good thing there were no other cars or it might have been bad for him

Isn't a stage 1 a body kit, a Stage 2 (S1) plus suspension? Otherwise stock(ish) power until Stage 3?
And all the Mustangs are ugly in my Opinion, especially Saleens, yuck. except the 2010+ those r damn nice (ducks for cover in LS1tech)
Lol

YA the stage 2 was like cold air and suspension. Wasn't till you got to a stage 3 or the 427 they gained any real power. Even then though the stage 3 and 427 was not that fast. Guy with a 2010 427 roush was only at 415hp. Old guy so he was happy. Me I was disappointed.

if I was Ford I would have asked for them to bring me our competitors. Then I would tell my build team to build a mustang to be competive with the others. That simple. But they r on the right track with the new 5.0

So I was at a light and I hear someone revving behind me-it was a Roush. I looked in my rear view mirror and saw him adjusting his seat, so I knew he wanted to go at it. When the green arrow comes on I make my left turn at a 10 mph crawl. Once I got the car straight I look in the mirror again and I see the Mustang fish tailing bad, so I guess he got on it right away. As he starts to catch up with me I floor it. He is behind me a good car length for about a mile and a half, so I let off the gas because I know the road is about to get bad, however the Mustang keeps pushing. The Mustang nearly loses control, so it was a good thing there were no other cars around or it might have been bad for him....

Yeah and those roush numbers are at the motor. I know JPC upgraded a 2011 roush 5xr and it made 438 rwhp from roush but after pulley swap, cai, headers, and better tune it put out 563 rwhp so the older roush are probably pretty similar in that they're not the best tuned from roush
