Went to the 1/8 track last night right after work w/ a lil more than a ผ tank of 87 octane and a bunch of junk in the trunk.

1st run (launched off of idle and bogged)

Final run (not sure I think about a 2.5k launch and clutch started to slip on this run)

Tires are 275/40/17 Riken Raptors. I can’t figure out how people where running better times w/ less mph. What am I doing wrong? Or is it the car?

Why are you disappointed? That's fairly normal for street tires. Mph is low...but that could be a few things. Norm is high 80s with bolt ons

Oh, ok. I guess I don't go to the track enouph to know what the norm is. I'm gonna start getting some suspenssion parts. What do you think it will run in the 1/4?

Bad 60ft, dead weight should have been pulled, and crap fuel.
