on an 02 camaro convertible... what should be the preferred order one replaces stock suspension parts with performance parts as the funds become available?

-Good shocks, like Bilstiens or Konis + lowering springs.
-Subframe connectors - UMI just released 3 point SFCs. Mine are waiting to be installed...
-Hollow sway bars

-Hollow sway bars Just my preference, but after the shocks I would install a 3 point strut tower brace. Makes a huge difference in the front end.

How many miles do you have on your vehicle now? Any suspension mods now? What type of power adders?
Let us know and we are glad to help. Thanks!

Why do you suggest hollow bars?

I've heard the three points can cause the windshield to crack?

Why do you suggest hollow bars?
They're lighter. The center of a bar adds very little to the stiffness of the bar, so a hollow bar will have nearly the same stiffness as a solid one, but be lighter.

you should probably go with subframe connectors sooner than later.

I did exactly what he said:
shocks first (bilstein)
then 2 pt bolt in sfc's (have 3pt UMI's on stand bye in garage now)
hoctchkis strut tower bar
(have not done lowering springs)

Since I am looking at 700+ at the crank, I was thinking of running some angle iron or box channeling along the inside of the floor along the rocker panels, as well as a tunnel brace.
