Pretty cool the GM president actually drove the car around the ring, granted was the fast lap we all heard about but still cool none the less.

Saw that car last week in Hot Rod magazine's parking lot. Very nice! It's hard not to want one.

Listen in the video, he clearly states its the test car and takes abuse and its the original prototype from back when they were just started testing and wanted to "hide" it from the general public.

The Eaton TVS blowers are still roots type, they aren't twin screw (e.g., whipple, kennybells, etc.) like he said. :disgust:

This will happen, but the car will need a new lower manifold and intecooler core as well, which will add to the cost.
My guess is you will see far more heads/cam pulley cars with the crazy ones running spray as well.

fastest car under $75,000. so let me guess they are $74,999??? new gt500's are low 50k.

They said under 75k because the 2012 Z06 is 75,525 starting for 2012 basically they are betting that no car under the price of a new Z06 is faster then the ZL1 thats not him saying it will be 74k. I bet it has a 55k starting point, well hopefully they can't let it be to expensive if they want it to be selling better then the GT500.

Most new car pricing is completely out of control...regardless of options.
It ain't going to be cheap, but it looks like it's going to one of the best Camaro's ever.
