Default Trailblazer SS... Questions

I currently own a 02 Camaro SS. I have been looking at SUV's and of course the Tailblazer SS came to mind 1st. Can someone tell me if they were also sent to SLP to be turned into a SS or was that done at GM? Do they have build #'s? Anything I should be looking for while test driving other that the common sense stuff? Should I look for all wheel drive or just rear. Thanks!! If you own one chime in. I think there awesome trucks!

I've got an 07 awd SS. They were not sent to SLP or anything special...just came from the factory that way. If you will be driving in snow or ice I would definitely get awd. Otherwise 2wd would be my preference.

I got AWD because it was going to be my wife's DD (for safety). They have weak transmissions, and don't get the greatest gas mileage. Mine is cammed and stalled, and it gets 16 mpg on the interstate. For the performance and space, it is exactly what we wanted.
