It is a stock LQ9 out of an Escalade (mileage unknown)
I have a set of long tubes and a Holley carb - that's it!

I just messed with my trans governor and I think I found 50 hp - seriously!
It was shifting at 4200 or so and now I've got it shifting at 6100 or so and it is like a beast now!

Weight is the enemy - there were cars at the dragstrip making more power than me - but they weigh so darn much I can beat 'em.

keep us posted since you got it shifting at 6100 Now go and see if you improve on your time..
