LS Engine?: Car has LS engine

Hey all,

I bought this car 3 years ago for the drive train intending to swap it into my 68 Camaro. Instead I have started it every couple of months and it's just sitting there. I also just sold my stock 2000 Camaro SS with 68,000 miles. Money is tight and my plans are changed.

The car is a 2001 Pontiac Firebird. It has a salvage title and was a track/bracket running nitrous in a previous life.

The engine is a 8.5:1 383 running Patriot Performance heads and cam, STI rear mount turbo thru Kook's exhast w/ cat mid pipe. I did that just to get it inspected a couple years ago. Transmission has RAM HD clutch. Stock Rear. Engine has less than 15,000 miles on it.

Car was originally tuned by Carolina Auto Master. The tune was, in a word, terrible but made 575TQ and 507HP on 7LBS boost. I have upgraded the PCM to an HPTuners 2Bar OS. It needs to be tuned.

Extras: HPTuners, Wideband O2 sensor, GT4202 Turbo and some matched 60LB injectors. I may also have some new shocks for the car to throw in as well.

Basically, I am selling the engine, transmission and extras and giving away the car. Anyone that wants to come and see it let me know. It's an easy project if you have the time and space to work on it. I don't have either right now.

I will work on getting pictures tonight or tomorrow.

Thanks for your time.
