Hey guys... new to this forum, and just wanted to stop in and say hello.

I just found and bought a:

1999 Camaro SS (verified by VIN to be a true SS)
Hugger Orange
M6
T-Tops
60k Miles
2 owner (last owner had it 6 years and put 3k miles on it)

The second owner put Pace Setter Long tube headers, Pace Setter off-road Y Pipe, into a SLP exhaust can, all 3". That's it, the rest is bone stock, and still have the stock exhaust parts as well.

The car is near flawless... and I am in love. It is my first F-Body, and have owned 3 fox body mustangs (87-93) 5.0 cars, mild bolt ons... and one 01 GT.

This is an HDR picture, really brings out the ORANGE!

Cannot wait to be a part of the Camaro side of the world for a change!

Thanks for all the welcomes!

Small plans, nothing to far from stock. Would like a mild cam set up, and FAST intake/throttle body combo. Thats it. Then a good tune (mail order tune by frost I have read were good.)

Would like to get it lowered with sport style springs, just a mild drop. Any ideas for a small drop, no more than 1"?

Forgot to mention, the car has Hotchkis under hood strut tower brace and under tail sway bars, Hotchkis subframe connectors, and a Hotchkis brace that ties the rear axle into the frame.

Also has upgraded drilled and slotted rotors! I will get more pictures posted in the next few days, so check back....

Thanks!

D14- I want to get the same intake/throttle body and cam set up you have.... How do you like the set up? Good for daily driving?

I did find a set of chrome C5 Vette wheels and tires (17'S front and 18'S) for it too, just got to get the center caps ordered.

Hoss-My Ss is a everyday driver the lsa cam I went with is fairly agressive its a good everyday driver amazing response with the intake and throttle body. Fast makes a 90,92 and 102mm throttle body, I went with the 92mm the 102mm is alittle more for built engines or forced induction, my buddy went with the 102 on his ls1 zo6vette he didnt have any issues with it. But the fast set up was deffentily worth the 1300bucks. Amazing Hp torque gain and throttle response.
